Bangor Christian Schools was founded in 1970 as a ministry of Crosspoint Church (formerly Bangor Baptist Church). The school's mission from the very beginning was to provide a Christ-centered education and train young men and women to serve the Lord. For over 50 years now, the school has remained steadfast in upholding these core values and principles. At its inception, the school consisted of just 85 students and three faculty members operating out of a rented building on French Street in Bangor, Maine. Despite its humble beginnings, the founders had a vision and unwavering faith.
The Lord's blessings are evidenced by the remarkable growth and stability of Bangor Christian Schools over the years. What started as a small operation has blossomed into a well-established institution with modern facilities, a rich curriculum, and an ever-growing student body. The school's impact has extended far beyond the local community, as generations of students have gone on to make a positive difference in various walks of life, all while staying rooted in their Christian faith.
