The challenge will be ending on February 16, 2018.  The class with the most box tops collected will win an ice cream party.  We will coordinate with the teacher on the date to have the ice cream party.

We will provide a box to each teacher for collection and will collect those boxes on 2/16/2018.  Please feel free to contact me ( with any questions.  Thank you so much for your help. Sincerely, Krissy Wadsworth.

Christmas Concert 2017!

Christmas Concert 2017!

Friday, December 15th, 6:30pam in the Crosspoint Auditorium.

DVD's Available!  DVD recordings of the concert will be available!  It will cost $10 if you sign up and pay on the night of the concert and $14 if you need to pay at a later date (in which case you would pay in the office).

Grades K4-5 are singing with their classes.  They must be in their homerooms by 6:15.  K4 through 3rd grade should dress is school dress code or nicer.

Grade 4-5 are in a black light performance.  They have to wear all black.

I don't want them to worry about having to change between groups.  If the students want to wear red, green, or white, they can wear layers.  For example, the ladies can wear a green sweater over a black shirt.  Then she can leave her sweater in her chair or on the risers before the black light.  For a boy example, he could wear a snap on tie/bow tie that comes off easily.  Again, this is only for 4th and 5th grade.  We will have a dress rehearsal during school Wednesday 12/13.

Band must arrive by 6 pm (after checking in with homeroom teacher if in elementary).  Grade 6-12 band dress code is black on bottom and red, white, or green on top. Ladies can wear a solid color dress, but no patterns.

MS/HS Chorus must arrive by 6 pm.  Dress code is black on bottom and red, white, or green on top. Ladies can wear a solid color dress, but no patterns.

Don't hesitate to ask questions!  I am here to help :)  Thank you for being flexible!  Thank you!!!

Moms in Prayer International - Bangor

Moms in Prayer International is a prayer ministry with the goal of having every school and every student covered in prayer.  We meet weekly to pray for one hour and we use the ACTS prayer format and one accord prayer. We focus heavily on praising God for Who He is and asking Him for "big" things for our kids and schools.  We have a couple of groups going right now and are always looking for more group leaders.

Right now we meet on Tuesday mornings from 7:30 to 8:30 at thre radio station conference room and will be starting up a group which will meet 5:30 to 6:30 pm on Sundaynights. (Starting Sunday, September 10th).

We are also planning a moms in prayer informational to be held on October 7th from 9am to 11am at Glenburn Evangelical Covenant Church.

For more information they can contact the Penobscot area coordinator which is me, Cindy McDonald at 852 4497 or on facebook messenger or email at  They can also go to for more information and encouragement.

Parents and Students please help Bangor Christian Schools earn extra money by participating in the Clynk Recycling Program. For every Clynk bag you bring to participating Hannaford Supermarkets, our school earns $3.00. Teachers will have the Clynk bags and envelopes for each student and family who choose to participate. When your bag is full please return it to any participating Hannaford at the Clynk Drop-Off Centers. Then return the Clynk envelope with the student’s name on the envelop to their homeroom teacher.  They will receive a dress down pass to be used at a later date.

Each teacher will have a Clynk folder.  When a student returns a Clynk envelop, with the student’s name on it, the teacher will then place the envelop in the Clynk folder that I provided. On a weekly basis I will check the Clynk folders and check off every time a student returns his or her envelope. I will then give the teacher the dress down passes their students have earned. Students cannot dress down until they have their Clynk dress down pass.  Every time the student returns their envelope, with their name on it, the student earns a free dress down pass. I will be replacing  Clynk bags in the teacher’s folders and have more Clynk bags at the elementary and middle school offices. If you have any questions please contact Peggy Sherwood at
